Entrepreneurship is vitally important to the economic and social development of South Africa. In fact, the most competitive nations are those that have the highest level of entrepreneurial activity – they also tend to be the greatest creators of jobs which has a multiplying effect on the economy. Therefore, this Global Entrepreneurship Week (18 – 24 November), Orange Ink celebrates those who have unleashed their talents, turned their ideas into reality and are pushing to take their business to the next level.
Says Candice Luis, Business Director at Orange Ink; “Growing and accelerating entrepreneurs in South Africa is critical and supporting and encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs to start their own businesses or grow their existing business is something that lies at the core of the Orange Ink brand, an agency built with local entrepreneurial spirit and passion. It’s for this reason, that this Entrepreneurship Week, we are giving back to the local community by providing free brand consultancy and marketing advice to identified small businesses to equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to take their business forward.”
Calling all small businesses
Orange Ink is calling on all small businesses in the Johannesburg area that want to boost their business’s brand, PR and marketing efforts. The agency is offering a free brand audit and consultancy service to two lucky start-up businesses to help them understand their audiences, how to communicate effectively, how to use social media to their advantage and how to maximise their marketing spend – critical when operating in a tight economy.
“Specialised marketing efforts can help create awareness among potential clients if your business is just starting out, but if you are already recognised, it’s time to take your marketing to the next level, ahead of the New Year.”
